  • In our first appointment together, I will:

Talk you through the admin parts that come with seeing a psychologist. These include but are not limited to, explaining confidentiality, session durations, cancellation policy, booking future appointments.

Ask questions about what brings you to therapy.

Ask questions about who you are outside of the challenging parts of life right now. I want to get to know you, so I also care about your hobbies, favourite music, and the name of your pet!

Give you an opportunity to ask me questions about who I am and how I work.

The therapeutic process is different for everyone, so the number of sessions you may need and the interventions you may find helpful will depend on your individual circumstances and goals for treatment. We will collaboratively review your progress during treatment to make sure we’re working towards your goals.
