Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling Information
At Tama Barry Psychology, we understand that life can be unpredictable and that sometimes appointments need to be changed. To ensure a smooth and respectful scheduling process for all clients, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows time for another client to book and helps keep the practice running efficiently.
For cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 48 hours’ notice, a fee will apply. The following applies except in emergency circumstances, please see the cancellation policy for more information:
50% of the full consultation fee for cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice
100% of the full consultation fee for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice
It’s important to note that managing your appointments is your responsibility. While I do my best to support you by sending a courtesy email reminder, it is essential that your contact details are current so you can receive these notifications.
If you experience an emergency or unexpected circumstance, please contact me as soon as possible, and we will work together to manage the situation appropriately. Exceptions to the standard cancellation fees may be considered in genuine emergencies.
Booking and attending sessions regularly helps you get the most from your time in therapy and ensures continuity of care. Clear communication about your availability allows me to provide timely and effective support for all clients.
