Psychologist
Meet Tama Barry (He/Him)
Hello. Here’s a little bit about me,
I am a psychologist with a warm, compassionate, and thoughtful approach to my work. I believe in building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, curiosity, and collaboration — working together to help you make sense of your experience, clarify what matters most to you, and navigate challenges in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.
As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I place a high value on intersectional, affirming, and inclusive therapy. I strive to create a space where people of all gender identities, sexualities, neurotypes, and relationship structures feel seen, respected, and understood.
I am an Endorsed Sport and Exercise Psychologist, and I believe that supporting the whole person — not just their performance — is essential for sustainable wellbeing. I have a particular interest in working with queer and neurodivergent athletes and performers, helping them navigate pressure, identity, and the unique challenges of high-performance environments in a way that honours both mind and body.
Outside the therapy room, I love staying active at the gym, appreciating good coffee, and committing to lifelong learning — always curious, always growing.
